We take pride in turning ordinary backyards into extraordinary outdoor living spaces. For this project, the client envisioned a backyard that was both stylish and functional—a space where they could entertain guests, relax with family, and enhance their home’s overall appeal. They wanted a well-designed paver patio with a fire pit, a bar area for hosting gatherings, and additional elements like space for a hot tub and raised garden beds to maximize their outdoor living experience. This landscaping project was completed over the course of several years in multiple phases to create a seamless, functional, and stunning outdoor environment. Each phase also featured LED low-voltage landscape lighting to enhance ambiance, visibility, and safety.
Phase 1: Paver Patio, Stairs, Fire Pit
The foundation of this transformation began with a beautifully designed paver patio. This expansive area provides ample space for outdoor dining, relaxation, and entertainment. Integrated stairs create a smooth transition from the home to the patio, enhancing accessibility and aesthetics. At the heart of this space is a custom-built fire pit, offering a cozy gathering spot for family and friends to enjoy year-round. LED low-voltage landscape lighting was incorporated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere at night.
PHASE 2: RETAINING WALL, BAR WITH GRANITE COUNTER TOPS
To elevate the entertainment experience, we added a fully functional outdoor bar with elegant granite countertops. This addition not only enhances convenience but also adds a sophisticated touch to the space. Surrounding the fire pit, we constructed a durable and stylish retaining wall, which serves as additional seating while seamlessly blending with the patio’s design. LED low-voltage landscape lighting highlights the bar area and retaining wall, adding both aesthetic appeal and nighttime functionality to this landscaping project.
PHASE 3: RAISED PAVER EDGING AROUND THE SHED
Attention to detail is key in any landscaping project, which is why we installed high-quality stone edging around the shed. This feature enhances the overall look of the backyard while providing a polished, well-maintained appearance. The edging also serves a practical purpose by helping to prevent erosion and defining the space. Subtle LED landscape lighting was added to illuminate the area and provide visibility during evening hours.
Phase 4: Hot Tub Patio Extension
To further enhance relaxation opportunities, we extended the paver patio to accommodate a hot tub. This addition creates a private oasis where the homeowners can unwind after a long day. The extended patio seamlessly integrates with the original design, ensuring a cohesive and elegant outdoor space. Soft LED landscape lighting around the hot tub enhances the tranquil ambiance, making it the perfect retreat after sunset.
Phase 5: Raised Garden Beds
Bringing functionality and sustainability into the landscaping design, we installed custom-built raised garden beds. These stone garden beds offer the perfect environment for growing fresh herbs, vegetables, and flowers. Not only do they provide a practical gardening solution, but they also add a charming aesthetic to the backyard. LED landscape lighting was strategically placed around the beds to highlight the garden and provide visibility for nighttime gardening.
Phase 6: Inground pool
Our final phase brought the ultimate backyard upgrade, a custom inground pool designed for both relaxation and entertainment. We built a complementary paver pool deck that flows seamlessly from the patio, with dedicated areas for sun loungers and a decorative rock border featuring carefully selected plants to add texture and natural beauty to the space.
Surrounding the pool, we incorporated sleek coping and custom paver accents that tie into the aesthetic of the existing patio and hardscape elements. This addition transformed the backyard into a comprehensive outdoor oasis, perfect for everyday enjoyment and hosting summer gatherings.
LED lighting around the pool area highlights key features at night and creates a welcoming atmosphere that ties into the rest of the outdoor living space.
